Lewes Downland Santa Fun Run 2026
The Lewes Downland Santa Fun Run takes place on Sunday 20 December 2026 and is organised by Lewes Athletic Club in aid of Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital. The event raises funds so that the charity can buy equipment for the hospital.
Distances offered include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
- 1 mile Elf Run for juniors aged 8 to 17 years
On the day participants register at Wallands Primary School, Lewes to collect a bib number and a Santa hat. The main running events have a minimum age of 18 years. Entry categories include affiliated and unaffiliated options for the 5 km, 10 km and 15 km races, and separate entry options for the Elf Run including a Lewes AC members rate and a standard rate. Fees are shown per entry with additional service charges.
The event is run under UK Athletics rules. Dressing in Christmas outfits is allowed but not required. All profits are directed to Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital to support equipment purchases. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
