Event
Joe's Night Run at The Hamptons is an all-night endurance event held at The Hamptons Golf Course in Hampton, VA on October 4, 2025. It is the fifth running of the event and the first edition organized by the Peninsula Track Club. The event offers the following options:
- 11 Hour Race
- 11 Hour RUCK
- 5 Hour Race
- 5 Hour RUCK
- 4.4 Miler Runners may be allowed one shorter 2.4-mile loop on their final lap to reach a distance milestone.
Course and logistics
The event uses paved cart paths only on a 4.4-mile loop starting and finishing in the parking lot in front of The Hamptons Clubhouse. The course includes a counterclockwise loop around nine holes called The Woods and a clockwise loop around nine holes called The Links. The route will be marked with glow sticks and turn signs. The cart path can accommodate about three people side-by-side and includes small hills; the organizer notes the hills may become more noticeable as the night progresses.
Lap counting is manual; runners report their bib number to lap counters. A fully stocked aid station will be available, primarily with pre-packaged items. The parking lot location makes self-crewing possible from a vehicle each lap. Portable restrooms will be available in the parking lot and two on course. All runners are required to carry a lighting device. Awards are given to the top three women and men in each event; all finishers receive a finisher item and medal.
