Joe Koziarz 5K Run/Walk
The Joe Koziarz 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held at the Westhampton Beach Village Marina in New York. This 34th edition of the race is scheduled to take place on July 18, 2026. The event features a standard 5 km distance for participants who wish to run or walk the course in person. Prior to the main event, there is a free kids fun run.
The race follows a designated route through Westhampton Beach. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance receive a personalized bib with their name. T-shirts are provided to those who register by mid-June, though sizes are not guaranteed. After the competition, a raffle is held at the Village Green gazebo for pre-registered participants, featuring prizes donated by local businesses and restaurants.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from 12 and under to 90 and above.

For those unable to attend the live event, a virtual option is available between July 18 and July 26. Virtual participants can track their own distance and upload their times and photos online.
