Joe Koziarz 5K Run/Walk 2027
The Joe Koziarz 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held on July 17, 2027 at Westhampton Beach Village Marina in Westhampton Beach, NY. This is the 35th live running of the event and it takes place rain or shine. Parking is available at the south end of the marina or behind Main Street southside.
The event distance is 5K and is presented as a run/walk. Registration information on the event page shows a base entry fee of $35.00 plus a transaction fee of $3.98 (total $38.98). Registration fees are non-refundable and are not transferable from year to year. Personalized bibs are available for registrants who register three weeks in advance and a guaranteed event T-shirt is noted with a cutoff date; T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
Event services include live online, email and text results, free finish-line photos, and same-day finish-line video. Packet pickup and race day registration take place the morning of the event at the Westhampton Beach Village Marina; bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants may receive bib information by text.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, including 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, and continuing by decade up to 90+. Teams may be created but team participation is optional and may not include affiliated awards.
Proceeds benefit local organizations such as Southampton Town PAL and the Koziarz Hurricane Scholarship Fund, among other local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
