2026 Joe Koziarz 5K Run/Walk
The Joe Koziarz 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Westhampton Beach at the Westhampton Beach Village Marina. It is presented as the 34th live edition and will proceed rain or shine. The event offers both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option that allows participants to complete the distance remotely and submit times and photos afterward.
Packet pickup and race day registration take place the morning of the event at the marina. Participants who register early may receive a guaranteed T shirt by June 18 and may have their name printed on a bib if registered three weeks before race day. Bib mailing for virtual entrants is scheduled within a shipping window around the event.

Awards are given to the top three male and female overall and to the top three male and female in multiple age groups from 12 and under through 90 plus. A runner raffle for preregistered participants follows the awards at the Village Green gazebo, with prizes donated by local businesses. Proceeds benefit local organizations including Southampton Town PAL and the Koziarz Hurricane Scholarship Fund. Registration fees are non refundable.
