Jingle Bell Trot
The Jingle Bell Trot takes place on December 3, 2026, in Trent Woods, North Carolina, along Canterbury Road. The event offers short and standard distances along streets that are decorated and lit for the season.

- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk (Bangert students and staff)
- 5K
- 5K (Bangert students and staff)
Registration fees are tiered by date: entries are listed at $25 for the earliest period, then $30, and $35 for the final pre-event period. Registrations made by November 18 are guaranteed an event T-shirt.
Packet pickup is available in advance at Bangert Elementary School on December 3. Organizers advise not to park in front of the school; the staff parking lot and carpool lot will be available. An alternative parking suggestion is Meadows Park with a walk to Bangert.
Additional event details include allowance of strollers, a safety policy that excludes pets, bikes, and scooters, and on-site food trucks serving before and after the runs. Event timing is provided by Run the East, LLC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
