TCTC Jingle Bell Run - Traverse City
The Jingle Bell Run is a nighttime holiday 5K run/walk organized by the Traverse City Track Club. The route tours neighborhood streets adjacent to downtown Traverse City that are decorated with holiday lights and seasonal displays. The event is non-timed and welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities wearing festive costumes.
After the 5K, participants receive complimentary hot cocoa and cookies and time for socializing. Costume prizes are provided by Lululemon, and every participant receives a custom Jingle Bell Run ornament made by ClaySpaceTC. The event is free to 2026 TCTC members who become or renew their membership by October 31, 2026; a registration fee of $20 is listed otherwise. Registrations open August 1, 2026 and close December 20, 2026. Registrants may make a donation to the Traverse City Track Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, during registration.
Packet pickup and the post-run gathering take place at the Park Place Hotel. The event serves as a family-friendly reunion to welcome family and friends during the holiday season and typically attracts over 600 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
