Leapin' Leprechaun 5K : overview
Leapin' Leprechaun is a 5K foot race held in Traverse City, Michigan. The course starts and ends on Lake Avenue in Old Town Traverse City. The route crosses the Boardman River, goes through residential neighborhoods, and includes a short segment on the TART Trail. The event is hosted by The Festival Foundation and sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
Proceeds from the race are donated to the Munson Medical Center neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). A race map is provided for the course.
Registration and participant services
Registration information shown on the event page lists a current price of $20 (previous price shown as $40) and a registration opening date of December 31, 2025 at 8:00am EST. The event page notes that registrants must be signed up by March 7th to claim a T-shirt.
Each registrant receives an LL5K T-shirt (if registered by the cutoff), professionally timed results, carbohydrates at the finish line, and age group medals for first through third place.
