JFK Runway 5K Run/Walk
The JFK Runway 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for October 25, 2026 at JFK International Airport, with event operations centered at Building 14. The event uses an out-and-back course on an airport runway that is closed to aircraft during the race; in adverse weather the route may be moved to adjacent airside taxiways. Organizers coordinate security procedures with airport authorities and a security check is required for participants.
This event is presented as a 5K run and walk. Registration options include standard and student pricing tiers with processing fees; students 18 and under must show valid ID to receive the youth rate. Bibs are mailed to the address provided at registration; participants must bring their bib or show proof of registration to obtain a replacement at the event.
