About the race
The 19th annual memorial 5k and fun walk is scheduled for September 19, 2026 at Immaculate Conception School in Towson, Maryland. The event includes in-person running and walking options plus a virtual option that can be completed any time and any place.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile fun walk
- Virtual 5K or fun walk
Online registration opens March 31, 2026 and carries fees for each option; in-person 5K and fun walk fees are listed at $40, and the virtual option at $45. Registrations and donations are tax-deductible. Registrants who register by September 5, 2026 are guaranteed an event shirt; shirt availability and sizes after the event are not guaranteed.
T-shirt and bib pickup is scheduled for September 17 and September 18 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lutherville. Free parking for the event will be available in the garage on Ware Ave.
Awards include cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25 for the top three male and female overall finishers, and age-group medals for top male and female finishers. Proceeds support local charitable causes including House of Ruth Maryland, ICS Tuition Assistance, and Father O'Neill Charities.
