About the race
The Jersey Half Marathon is a long-established road race held on the island of Jersey that explores the lanes and coastline of St. Ouen. The event dates from 1989 and in 2027 marks its 38th year.
The course features rolling coastal roads, quiet country lanes and several climbs that lead to sea views. The event awards 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for men and women across age categories: Open, 17-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80-89. All finishers receive a medal. Key participant information is provided for safety and logistics.
Runners must wear race numbers on the front of their shirts and must follow instructions from Honorary Police and marshals. Music and earphones are permitted at the runner’s own risk; the organisers recommend keeping volume low or using one ear piece. Runners should run on the left unless directed otherwise. Support on course includes bottle-free water stations supplying cups at Start, 3, 6.5, 9 and 11 miles and at the finish.
Normandy Rescue provides paramedic cover. A bag drop area is available and numbers include luggage labels. The organisers do not impose strict cut off times but expect most runners to finish within 3 hours 30 minutes. Transport and other logistics include parking at Les Quennevais Sports Centre (yellow parking disc required), a coach service between St Helier and the race, and an optional Trees Not Tees alternative for race apparel.
Refunds are not offered; deferrals in exchange for marshalling duties may be arranged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
