Janney 5K & Fun Run
The Janney 5K & Fun Run takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, in Washington, DC at Janney Elementary School, 4130 Albemarle Street NW, 20016. This is the 15th running of the Janney Elementary School 5K and Fun Run and is organized as a community event to support the school and the greater Tenleytown/AU Park community.
The event program includes an opening ceremony and a closing ceremony with awards. Awards will be presented for top male and top female overall, top students and top teachers, and top runners in each age category.

Participants will be able to pick up race t-shirts, race bibs, and a swag bag from Janney Elementary during the week of the race. The event listing shows entry prices for the two events as $50 for the 5K and $25 for the Fun Run. The organizers note that the race is intended as a community event and that participants who find registration fees challenging should contact the school administration for assistance.
