Picture Butte - First Annual Jamboree Fun Run (Centennial Edition)
The Jamboree Fun Run in Picture Butte takes place on August 14, 2026 as part of the town's centennial celebrations. The event offers two route options, available for running or walking:
- 3 km Run/Walk
- 5 km Run/Walk
Registration is capped at 150 participants and requires completing a registration form before payment. The entry fee is $20 and includes one race entry and bib, a race-day T-shirt or tank top (shirt cutoff midnight July 15), and one beer garden drink ticket for participants 18 and over. Entries are non‑cancellable and non‑refundable.
The course follows Picture Butte’s Walk on the Wild Side and a newly developed path. The finish area connects with a family dance, live music and beer gardens. Awards include medals for the top three in each category, prizes for top overall male and female, prizes for the youngest registered participant and the oldest participant, and prizes for the fastest stroller pusher male and female (registration required under the competitive stroller pusher category). Race packages can be picked up on the day before the event at Belles Training Solutions or on race day; anyone may collect a participant's package.
