Moonlight Run - 39th Annual (21 March 2026)
The Moonlight Run is a road running event in Lethbridge that starts and finishes at CASA and follows a route through the river valley in the evening.
Distances offered:
- 6 km walk/run
- 10 km run
Both routes head south along Indian Battle Road at the bottom of the 3rd Avenue hill. The 6 km is an out-and-back on that road. The 10 km includes that section plus an additional out-and-back past the Helen Schuler Nature Centre before returning up the hill to CASA.
Strollers are allowed and are encouraged to start toward the back. Dogs are not permitted. The event promotes reduced waste and asks participants to bring reusable bottles or cups.
Entry is capped at 2500 participants. Published fees include an adult entry fee of $26.50 for ages 16 and over and a youth fee of $16.00 for ages 15 and under. Optional items such as long-sleeve shirts, pullovers, and a finisher medal are available for additional fees with specific order deadlines.
Cash awards are offered for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, and medals are awarded to the top five in each age category. Awards are available in the CASA Community Room after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
