Rita's Run 2026
Rita's Run is a community sporting event held in Lethbridge, Alberta. The race takes place within the river valley, specifically starting and ending at the Elks Compound in Indian Battle Park. The event is open to participants of all ages and accommodates both runners and walkers.
Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The event is professionally timed by Sprint Line Events. The course is designated as stroller friendly, although dogs are not permitted to participate. For safety and flow, walkers are asked to stay toward the back of the starting group and maintain courtesy toward runners on the path.
Registration includes a finisher medal for all participants. An optional event shirt is also available for those who register before the April 15 cut-off date. Race packages can be collected at Kinetic Indoor Cycle and Fitness in the days leading up to the event, or at the race start area on the morning of the run.
The organizers do not offer refunds or transfers. If a registered participant cannot attend, their registration fee is treated as a donation toward mental health initiatives. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
