Event Overview
The JagDash is a running event organized by the Jaguar Pride Association. The 2026 edition is the second annual event and takes place on Saturday, April 18, in San Antonio, Texas. The address is 23203 Bulverde Rd. The event benefits Johnson High School athletes.
Distances and Participants
The event features several distances:
- JagDash 5K: The main race.
- JagDash 5K - Student (K-12): A version for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Kid's 1K (12 & under): A shorter run for children aged 12 and under who may not run the full 5K. It is described as a fun run on the Johnson High School track.
- Snooze Button 5k (Virtual Run): A virtual option for those who cannot attend on the event day.
Course and Schedule
The 5K course is new for 2026 and is described as having clearly marked turns. It starts on the Johnson High School campus, goes along Bulverde Road, and finishes on the Johnson High School track. The Kid's 1K starts first on the track, followed by the 5K.
Post-Race and Policies
After the races, there is a celebration on the Johnson High School field featuring an awards ceremony, food trucks, music, and games. The event welcomes all ages and permits strollers.
