Event overview
The Jackson Hole Marathon weekend in Jackson, Wyoming includes three in-person races and virtual options. Distances offered are:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon (Hole Half)
- Quarter Marathon
The in-person courses run through the Jackson Hole Valley and finish at the base of the Teton Mountain Range in Teton Village. The event is USATF-certified (WY17001TK). Virtual entrants receive a t-shirt, race bib, and medal and may upload their results after running on a course of their choice.
Registration and logistics
Registration for the 2026 events opens January 1, 2026. Listed entry fees are $120 for the marathon, $105 for the half marathon, $65 for the quarter marathon, and $60 for the virtual option. Virtual registration closes on 9/20/26.
The race operates as a cupless event: aid stations provide water and Powerade, but participants must carry their own water bottle, collapsible cup, or hydration bladder to refill on course. Pre-race shuttle tickets, which run from the finish area to the start lines before the races, can be purchased during registration or via the registrant’s account; there is no post-race shuttle. A post-race pub crawl called The Hobble is scheduled for Sunday 9/27/26, with tickets available through registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
