About the race
The Jackson Hole Marathon weekend includes multiple road races that run through the Jackson Hole Valley and finish at the base of the Teton Mountain Range in Teton Village. The event is USATF sanctioned and presented by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Hole Racing Company.
Race options include:
- Jackson Hole Marathon
- Hole Half Marathon
- Quarter
The event operates as a cupless race: water and Powerade are available at aid stations, but runners must carry their own water bottle, collapsible cup, or hydration bladder to refill on course. Pre-race shuttle service runs from the finish area to the start lines; there is no post-race shuttle. Pre-race shuttle tickets and festival admission tickets are available when registering.
Right after the races, the Teton Village Association hosts an Oktoberfest with a souvenir stein and two fills offered for a set price that is reduced versus general admission. The race weekend highlights local amenities such as Jackson’s food and art scene, craft breweries, and nearby public lands including Bridger-Teton National Forest and Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Participant comments mention notable scenery and supportive volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
