Jack & Paul's Fun Run 2026
Jack & Paul's Fun Run takes place in Penistone, Sheffield on 14 June 2026. The event is organised by Heads Together (Barnsley) and proceeds will go to that charity, which supports local families after serious loss or trauma. The run is held at Penistone Recreation Ground.
The event is a single lap trail run of 2 km on grass and Trans-Pennine trail with an undulating profile. The course includes a small manned crossing over a stream; buggies need to be carried across at that point. The event has an entry limit of 300 and the organisers have applied for a race licence. The course is stated as suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities at race headquarters include toilets and baggage storage. There is no water provided on course, no distance markers, no changing facilities, and no showers. All under 7s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Prizes are listed for the overall winner and age-category awards for boys and girls in these groups: under 7, 8 to 11, and 12 to 18. A medal is provided for every entrant. Entry fees are published as follows: Fun Run £5.00; Family tickets available at £15.00 for 3, 4, or 5 people. Entry on the day may be available for an additional £2.50 if the event has not sold out.
