Jack & Paul's Fun Run 2026
The Jack & Paul's Fun Run is a local athletic event held in Penistone, Sheffield. The race takes place on 2 km of mixed terrain, including grass and sections of the Transpennine Trail. The course follows an undulating profile consisting of a single lap. The event headquarters is located at the Penistone Recreation Ground.
The route includes a small manned crossing over a stream. While the event is suitable for wheelchairs, participants using buggies should note they must be able to carry them across the stream section. All participants under the age of seven must be accompanied by a paying adult. The entry limit for this race is set at 300 participants.

The event features several facilities, including on-site toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing facilities, showers, or water stations provided on the course, and distance markers are not used.
This event raises funds for a local charity that supports families who have experienced serious loss or trauma. All participants receive a medal upon entry. Prizes are awarded for the overall winner and the "Fun Run Star," as well as age category awards for boys and girls in three brackets: under 7, 8-11, and 12-18.
