Jack-O-Lantern 5K & 10K : Quakertown, PA
The event on September 26, 2026 features chip timed road races held on the Upper Bucks Rail Trail near the Richland Township Fire & Rescue building at 64 Shelly Rd, Quakertown, PA. The courses run on packed gravel trail and pass through the paved Richland Township Veterans Park. Start and finish are on the Upper Bucks Rail Trail.

Organized by the Knights of Columbus Quakertown together with Richland Township Fire & Rescue, proceeds will support Richland Township Fire & Rescue toward the purchase of one set of turnout gear, a set that can cost up to $15,000. The event is chip timed and race results are provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Co.
Entry fees vary by date: early entry (June 1 to Sept 1), a later window (Sept 7 to Sept 25), and race day pricing (Sept 26). The Pumpkin Challenge is an add-on for an additional fee; participants carry a 2 to 5 lb pumpkin for the entire race and must return it intact to keep it and receive a finisher prize. No carrying devices are allowed. Runners under 10 are not eligible for the Pumpkin Challenge.
All entrants receive a shirt; registrants age 10 and over who sign up by Sept 7 receive a moisture-wicking red, white and blue short sleeve shirt. Packet pickup is available Friday 9/25 and Saturday morning at the Richland Township Fire & Rescue building. Indoor restrooms, port-o-potties, free post-race food, and awards for overall and age-group placings are provided. Strollers are welcome; animals are not permitted on the course.
