J-Hawk Earlybird Race Series
The event is a one-day multisport race at UW-Whitewater, Williams Center Pool on Warhawk Drive in Whitewater, Wisconsin. It offers multiple race formats for individual athletes and relay teams, including triathlon, aquabike, and duathlon options. Relay entries require one team member to pay; additional team members register under a relay member option and complete a waiver.
Distances offered include:
- Super Sprint Tri: 250 yard swim, 6.2 mile bike, 2 mile run
- Sprint Tri: 500 yard swim, 12.2 mile bike, 5K run
- Olympic Tri: 1000 yard swim, 25 mile bike, 10K run
- AquaBike Sprint: 500 yard swim, 12.2 mile bike
- AquaBike Olympic: 1000 yard swim, 25 mile bike
- Duathlon: 2 mile run, 12.2 mile bike, 2 mile run
The Olympic distance fields are limited to 54 combined entries between triathlon and aquabike. Wave starts are used. There will be no onsite registration. Registrations follow posted deadlines and a last registration close occurs in April. Guides for PARA divisions may register free. Live results and finish line photography are provided. Awards and shirts are available at the event but awards will not be mailed. Event proceeds support a 501(c)(3) youth swim organization that offers swim lessons and reduced fee programs so no child is turned away for financial reasons.
