Tucker’s Treehouse It's Okay If You're Not Okay 5K
This event is a chip-timed 5K run/walk in Owensboro, Kentucky, with a flat and fast course that begins and finishes at Tucker’s Treehouse. The course is described as suitable for chip timing and follows a single 5-kilometer route.
Registration opens on February 20, 2026. The listed registration fee is $20. Individuals who register by August 15, 2026 are guaranteed a swag bag and T-shirt; registrations completed after that date receive shirts and swag on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Packet pickup is available at Tucker’s Treehouse the day before the event, September 18, 2026, and on the event date, September 19, 2026.
Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age category, with overall male and female winners excluded from age group awards. Age categories include overall, 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Proceeds benefit Tucker’s Treehouse, a free community program serving grieving children and teens in the tri-state area. The program focuses on youth ages 6 to 18 and addresses grief from death as well as living loss situations such as parental incarceration or active addiction, while also offering resources and educational support for parents and caregivers.
