The It's Okay if you're NOT Okay 5K run/walk takes place on September 19, 2026, in Owensboro, Kentucky. The event is presented by and benefits Tucker’s Treehouse. The course is described as fast and flat, and both the start and finish are at the Tucker’s Treehouse location on Wathen’s Crossing.
Logistics and Registration
Packet pick-up is available at Tucker’s Treehouse on Friday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on the morning of the event. Participants who register by August 15, 2026, are guaranteed a swag bag and t-shirt. For registrations after that date, t-shirts will be available in limited sizes on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards and Beneficiary
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, ranging from 9 years old and under to 70 and over. Overall winners are excluded from age group awards. All proceeds from the event support Tucker’s Treehouse, a free community program that provides grief support for children and teens in the tri-state area, including those coping with loss or a parent's incarceration or addiction.
