The It's Okay if you're NOT Okay 5K is a chip-timed 5K run/walk event.
Course & Logistics
The course is described as fast and flat. It starts and finishes at Tucker’s Treehouse, located at 3419 Wathen’s Crossing in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Packet pick-up is available at Tucker's Treehouse on Friday, September 18th and on the event day, Saturday, September 19th.
Registration & Perks
The event registration fee is $20. Individuals who register by August 15, 2026, are guaranteed a swag bag and t-shirt. Registrations after that date will receive t-shirts on a first-come, first-served basis with limited sizes.
Awards
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, ranging from 9 and under to 70 and over. Overall male and female winners are excluded from age group awards.
Charitable Cause
The event proceeds benefit Tucker’s Treehouse. This organization provides free community services designed to meet the grieving needs of children and teens (ages 6-18) within the tri-state area. Their support extends to grief from the death of a loved one and "living loss" situations, such as having a parent who is incarcerated or struggling with addiction.
