It's Leg Day 5K : overview
GCXC Racing organizes the second annual It's Leg Day 5K on November 23, 2025 at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Canfield, Ohio (7265 Columbiana Canfield Rd.). The event offers these options:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Virtual 5K
Entry fee is $30. Current participant count is 111. A fundraising goal is $500; $146 has been raised so far.
Event details
Registration includes a finisher medal, a long sleeve shirt with a choice of color, and a custom bib number. Early packet pick-up is at Fleet Feet Boardman on November 20; the store address is 1449 Boardman-Canfield Road #250, Youngstown, Ohio 44512. Race day packet pick-up is at the Colonial Inn within the fairgrounds. The race is chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown and the course starts and finishes at the Colonial Inn. Awards for the 5K Run include Fleet Feet gift cards ($30, $20, $10) for the top three overall males and females, age-group prizes for standard age brackets, and Run Youngstown apparel for overall age-group winners. The 5K Walk has awards for the top three overall males and females. Proceeds benefit The Way Station of Columbiana to help stock the food pantry.
