Islip Terrace Fire Dept “Heathers Helpers” 5K Run/Walk
The event is scheduled for August 22, 2026 at Race Site, 264 Beaver Dam Rd., Islip Terrace, NY 11752. The program is planned to run rain or shine and is organized by Islip Terrace Fire Dept and Heathers Helpers.

- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run (10 & Under, untimed)
Registration fees vary by date and include a processing fee. Additional options include donations and sponsorship. The first 300 registrants are guaranteed a shirt and finishers receive a medal. Personalized bibs are provided for those registered at least three weeks before the event. Bib pickup is available starting one hour before the event; last-minute registrants within 24 hours may receive a bib number by text.
Course routing is provided and follows local streets, finishing at ITFD Headquarters with road markers along the route. Results are posted live online and via text or email. Free finish line photos and same-day finish line video are available. Awards are planned for the top four male and top four female overall finishers.
