Event Overview

The Irving Oktoberfest Half Marathon is an annual running event in Irving, Texas. It is part of the Irving Marathon Running Series. The event offers several race distances and includes a post-race party.

Event Details

The event takes place at the Toyota Music Factory, located at 330 W Las Colinas Blvd in Irving. The venue is described as America's number one concert venue and is centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, minutes from the DFW airport. A post-race Oktoberfest festival is held at the finish line.

Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel. Parking on race day is available at the Urban Towers Parking Garage for a fee, with a pre-pay option.

Registration and Perks

Registration includes a gender-specific performance shirt, a custom finisher medal, a custom race bib with a timing chip, and access to free professional photos. The first 1,000 registrants receive a free commemorative stein. Other features include free bag check, live tracking via the RaceJoy app, a pre- and post-race party, live music, food and beverage coupons, and street closures managed by off-duty police officers.

A VIP package is available, which includes race registration, packet delivery, VIP area access with a brunch buffet, additional beverages, reserved seating, and private restrooms.

Awards and Charity

The event benefits the Irving Schools Foundation, with funds raised supporting scholarships for Irving ISD student volunteers. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the half marathon. Age group awards are given for all distances.
