Irving Marathon Running Series

The Irving Marathon Running Series is a collection of running events based in Irving-Las Colinas, Texas. It has been operating since 2012 and hosts multiple events throughout the year.

Events include distances from a 5k run/walk to a full marathon (26.2 miles). The Irving Marathon in spring and the Irving Frost Marathon in winter feature fast, flat, and scenic courses that are Boston Marathon qualifiers.

Participants have access to various amenities such as free giveaways for the first 1,000 registrants, free professional HD photos, free bag check, cash prizes for marathon and half marathon, pacers for these distances, gender-specific performance shirts, finisher shirts for marathon and half marathon, custom finisher medals, race bibs with timing chips, and street closures managed by over 90 off-duty police officers. Other features include live tracking with GPS progress alerts, a pre- and post-race party at Toyota Music Factory, live music, entertainment, food, age group awards, and team challenge awards.

The series directs 100% of donations to the Irving Schools Foundation, funding scholarships for Irving ISD students who volunteer at the events.
