Irving Marathon
The Irving Marathon returns for its 14th annual edition at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. Located centrally in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Irving Schools Foundation, supporting local students through meals, school supplies, and scholarships.
The event features several race distances held over two days:
- 26.2 Miles (Marathon)
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 10K
- 5K Run/Walk
The course is USATF certified and is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon. Described as fast and flat, the route begins at the Toyota Music Factory and travels through downtown Las Colinas. Participants pass the Las Colinas Canals, Lake Carolyn, and Water Street, as well as the Las Colinas Mustangs statues. The course continues along Las Colinas Boulevard before returning to the venue for the finish.
Registered participants receive professional race photos, a gender-specific performance shirt, and a custom event bib with chip timing. Marathons and half-marathon finishers receive additional finisher shirts. The event provides live tracking and course maps with GPS progress alerts. Following the race, a post-party is held at Texas Lottery Plaza featuring food and beverages. VIP packages are available for purchase, offering indoor brunch buffet access and additional amenities. The event also hosts a team challenge with trophies for the fastest, largest, and best-dressed teams. Virtual options are available for all distances for those unable to attend in person.
