Ironbridge Half Marathon
Ironbridge Half Marathon, organized by Telford Harriers, features a single-lap, multi-surface course starting and finishing at the QEII Arena in Telford Town Park. The 13.1-mile route threads through the town park and along the Silkin Way, then past Blists Hill Museum, Coalport China Museum, and the Severn Gorge, crossing the iconic Ironbridge and running along the River Severn through Ironbridge town. Runners pass the Silkin Way again toward the finish, with four water stations and a medal, T-shirt and goody bag for finishers.
Capacity is 500 entrants; headphones aren’t allowed and there’s a strict 3-hour cut-off. The atmosphere is friendly and scenic, with supporters along the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
