Ironbridge Half Marathon
The event takes place on March 22, 2026. The race starts and finishes at the QEII Arena in Telford Town Park.
The Course
The course is a single-lap, multi-surface loop described as "down and up." It is marked in miles. The route begins at the QEII Arena, goes through Telford Town Park, and follows the Silkin Way path. Runners pass historical sites including the Blists Hill Museum, Coalport China Museum, Jackfield Tile Museum, and the World Heritage Ironbridge itself. The course continues through the town of Ironbridge, along the River Severn, and through Coalbrookdale and Rough Park before returning to the finish via the Silkin Way.
Logistics and Rules
There is a race cutoff time of 3 hours. Participants are not allowed to wear headphones during the race; doing so may result in disqualification. Runners must follow instructions from race marshals and signs. At the finish, participants receive a medal, T-shirt, and goody bag. Water is available after the race. Prizes are awarded to age category winners.
Water Stations
There are four water stations located at approximately miles 3, 6, 9, and 11 along the route.

The event had a total of 500 places and is currently full, with a waiting list available. Early bird pricing was offered until December 1, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
