Staffs Knot 5 Miler and Fun Run
The event takes place on 15 July 2026 at Cannock Chase Visitors Centre, Marquis Drive, Hednesford, postcode WS12 4PW. Race licence number is TBC. The main race is part of the NSRRA Programme of League races.
Distances
- 5 miles Main race with memento, individual team and age prizes.
- 2 miles Fun run, medals for all, U15 boys and U15 girls prizes.
A special race memento is provided to all finishers of the main race. Trophies are awarded to the first under 19 male and under 19 female finishers in the main race. Prizes are available for beating the course record, with course record prizes for 2026 set at £100 for each gender. The 2025 modified course reset the course records; current record times are 24:43 for men and 29:11 for women.
Entry details note a service fee of 4 percent per sign up, minimum 50 pence. Entry fees listed until 14 July 2026 21:00 are: 5 mile discounted £17 and standard £19, fun run £6. The event closing time is 14 July 2026 21:00 and the event status is open.
Practical information: the main race minimum age is 15 years on race day. The fun run has no minimum age but children under 8 must be accompanied on the run as per UKA guidelines. Race numbers and timing chips are collected at registration. There are no changing facilities on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
