Ireland's Four Courts Four Miler
Ireland's Four Courts Four Miler takes place on March 14, 2026 in Arlington, Virginia. The event starts and finishes at Ireland's Four Courts, 2051 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201. The course is an out and back along Wilson Boulevard: runners descend a hill to a turnaround point and then run back up the same hill to finish at Four Courts.
The event marks the 30th anniversary of Ireland's Four Courts and serves as a kickoff for St. Patrick's Day. A playful leprechaun chase is part of the event: participants receive a ten minute head start before the leprechaun is released. Runners who finish before the leprechaun may receive a "pot of gold" or a small prize.
Registration includes a race t shirt and a free post race beverage provided by Four Courts. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 1, 2026; after that date shirts are provided based on availability. Registration opens January 15, 2026 and the event fee is listed as $45.
Packet pickup is available at Ireland's Four Courts on the days before the race and on race morning; participants are encouraged to collect packets before race day. An updated course map will be provided closer to the event; the course is essentially the same with only minor changes to the start line and turnaround.
