Ireland West Airport Charity Runway Fun Run 2026
The Ireland West Airport Charity Runway Fun Run is the ninth annual charity 5 km Runway Family Fun Run held at Ireland West Airport in partnership with Portwest. The event is open to running and walking participants on the airport runway and includes an in person option and a virtual option for those who cannot attend.
Proceeds from the event support the event charity partners for 2026: Cancer Care West, Family Centre Castlebar, Liver Ireland Support Network, Mayo Mental Health Association, Pancreatic Cancer Ireland, and Sunflower Children’s Hospice. Online registration closes at 2pm on Friday, 18th September 2026, and participants who register by that time will receive a commemorative runway run t-shirt. T-shirts can be collected at the airport on the day or on a pre-arranged date that will be advised closer to the event; t-shirts are limited and subject to availability.
Entry pricing is published for several categories: Adult €20, Under 16 €5, Family (2 adults and 2 children) €40. Virtual entries are available with a price of €23.95 including postage and packaging for t-shirts, or €20 for a virtual entry without a t-shirt or with t-shirt collection at the airport.
