Ireland West Airport Charity Runway Fun Run 2026
The Ireland West Airport Charity Runway Fun Run 2026 is the ninth annual charity 5k run and walk held on the runway at Ireland West Airport in partnership with Portwest. The event is dated 19th September 2026 and invites participants to run or walk on the airport runway.
Proceeds from the event go to the 2026 charity partners: Cancer Care West, Family Centre Castlebar, Liver Ireland Support Network, Mayo Mental Health Association, Pancreatic Cancer Ireland, and Sunflower Children’s Hospice.
Entry types listed for the event include adult entry, under-16 entry, a family entry for two adults and two children, and virtual entries. A virtual option is available for those who cannot attend in person; a postage and packaging charge applies for virtual participants who wish to receive a commemorative t-shirt. Those who register by Friday, 18th September 2026 will receive a free commemorative runway run t-shirt, which can be collected at the airport on the day of the event or on a pre-arranged date advised before the event.
