IPTT 2 Person 10 Mile Relay
The IPTT Two Person Ten Mile Relay is a team running event held at Bloom Trail High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Teams consist of two runners who alternate on a one mile loop on the Bloom Township Cross Country Course. Each runner completes five one mile legs for a total of ten miles. Each mile is chip timed and split times are provided. The chip is embedded in a baton that is issued to the team; the baton must be returned after the race. Each participant also receives a bib number for both teammates.
Only one partner needs to register for the team. Spikes are allowed on the cross country course. Awards are presented to the top ten male, female, and coed teams. Parking is available adjacent to the course and restrooms will be provided near the venue. Packet pickup is located at the start and finish area.
A registration fee of $10.00 applies. All proceeds benefit the Bloom Township Cross Country Team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
