BowmanFest 5K on Runway
BowmanFest 5K on Runway takes place on October 3, 2026 at Bowman Field Terminal Building, 2815 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205, US. The course returns to the runway and runs on the airport runway.
Two event categories are listed:
- 5K run and walk.
- 5K for ages 15 and under.
Race entries include chip timing, a shirt, a participant medal, and a post-race drink. Strollers are permitted on the course. All race entrants receive free entry into Bowman Fest, and there is discounted admission available for family and friends.
Registration opens June 5, 2026 and closes July 30, 2026. Fees are shown as $20.00 for the general 5K and $15.00 for the 15 and under 5K.
Packet pickup is available before the event on Friday, October 2, at Ken Combs Running Store, 4137 Shelbyville Road, and race-day packets are available on site the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
