IOP Connector Run
The IOP Connector Run takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event address is 1116 Pavilion Drive, Isle Of Palms, SC.
The event is a road race across the IOP Connector. The course starts on the Isle of Palms, crosses into Mount Pleasant, and returns to IOP. It is open to runners and walkers, including teams.
Two distances are offered:
- 10K
- 5K
A post-race festival includes live music, a designated kids' area, vendor exhibits, an awards ceremony, and free beer for participants aged 21 and over. Cash prizes are also awarded.
All funds raised go directly to local organizations focused on the prevention of child abuse and supporting those affected. Over the past three decades, the event has contributed over $1,240,000 to local nonprofits. In 2024, $146,000 was distributed to beneficiary organizations.
