The first annual Placentia 5K celebrates the city's Centennial. Runners and walkers can tackle a point-to-point downhill 5K course starting at Tri City Park, with a 1K Kids Run also available. All participants receive a finisher medal and t-shirt.

Placentia 5K

The Placentia 5K is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event has two distances:

1K Kids Run

The 5K is a point-to-point course described as a downhill route. The start line is at Tri City Park, located at 2301 N Kraemer Blvd in Placentia, California. This is a point-to-point race; participants park near the start line at Tri City Park and shuttle buses will be available to return them from the finish area after the event.

Everyone who registers and completes a course receives a finisher medal and a race t-shirt. The event is part of the celebration of Placentia's Centennial and is noted as the first annual 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Event Details

5K Price: $38.10 (includes fee). Price increases after February 26, 2026.
1K Kids Run Price: $11.60 (includes fee). Price increases after March 12, 2026. This event is open to ages 10 and under.
