Event overview
The 2026 International Women's Day Run is an inaugural 5K held on March 8, 2026, at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey (40 Fort Lee Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660). The race is listed with an entry price of $35; the price increases after December 31, 2025. Proceeds will benefit JBWS, a private, confidential service for survivors of dating, domestic, or partner abuse and their family members, regardless of severity of the abuse, marital status, income, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnicity.
Logistics and amenities
Pre-registered participants will receive a finisher medal. Shirts are available in a choice of unisex or women’s cut and are limited to the first 200 runners. There will be one water station on the course and sweet treats at the finish line. There is no formal cut-off time; the majority of runners finish within 1 hour 15 minutes, and participants expecting to take longer than 1 hour 20 minutes are asked to notify the organizers in advance. Someone else may pick up a participant packet on a participant’s behalf.
Rules and course notes
Well behaved, registered, vaccinated dogs are permitted, subject to park rules. Participants should avoid bringing dogs that do not tolerate crowds or other dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
