Event Details
The 2026 International Women's Day Run is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026. This inaugural event is a 5K run and walk held at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The event welcomes anyone who supports and celebrates women, including runners, walkers, friends, family, and allies.
Registration & Inclusions
Registration costs $40, with the price increasing after February 1, 2026. Pre-registered participants receive a finisher medal. Registrants can choose between a unisex or women's cut shirt, available to the first 200 runners. There is a guaranteed shirt size deadline of January 31.
Course & Logistics
The course features one water station. Well-behaved, registered, and vaccinated dogs are permitted, subject to park rules. There is no official time cut-off for finishing the race, though most runners finish within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Packet pickup can be done by someone else on behalf of a participant.
Charity
Proceeds from the event benefit JBWS, a private, confidential service for survivors of dating, domestic, or partner abuse and their family members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
