25th Annual International Race for Research
The 25th Annual International Race for Research takes place in Peabody at Leather City Common, 53 Lowell Street, on September 19, 2026. The event is presented with a lead sponsor, TruNorth Bank.
The event offers both in person participation in Peabody and a virtual option. It includes awards and refreshments for participants and is held rain or shine.

Registration follows a tiered fee schedule: a special 25th anniversary rate of $25 is available through May 31, then $30 from June 1 to June 30, $35 from July 1 to August 15, and $40 from August 16 through race day. Youth ages 3 to 18 have a $25 fee through race day. Shirts and guaranteed sizes are not assured after August 15.
Dogs are permitted for the walk only, must be leashed, and there is no charge for dog participants. Participants may join in person or virtually from any location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
