Interlaken Icicle Dash
Interlaken Icicle Dash is held at Interlaken Park in Seattle on January 30, 2027. It is the seventh and final event in the 2026/27 Winter Trail Series and offers trail race options of 5k and 10k.
The course is based on a 2.5 km loop that begins on the wide, paved Interlaken Boulevard closed to motorized traffic through the park. The route turns up a short staircase onto dirt trails, climbs to the top of the park, and returns to Interlaken Boulevard for a short finish. The 5k consists of two loops and the 10k of four loops.
The aid station is located at the start and finish. Runners pass it at 2.5 km intervals; the station provides water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate-rich or salty foods including cookies, energy bar pieces, gels, chews, chips, bagels, fruity candy, fig bars, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and bananas.
Street parking is available adjacent to check-in and the start/finish area near 21st Ave E and E Interlaken Blvd. Trails remain open to other users during the event; participants are responsible for their own safety. Dogs are not allowed on the course. A youth discount of $10 applies to runners under 20 years of age. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
