The 5k is two loops of the course and the 10k is four loops.
Course, aid and series details
The course begins with an out-and-back on the paved, car-free Interlaken Boulevard, then ascends a short staircase onto dirt trails, climbs to the top of the park, and returns to Interlaken Boulevard for the finish. Each loop is 2.5 km.
The aid station is at the start/finish. 5k runners pass it at 2.5 km as they begin their second loop. 10k runners pass the aid station at 2.5 km, 5 km, and 7.5 km. The station provides water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate-rich or salty foods such as cookies, energy bar pieces, gels, chews, chips, bagels, candy, fig bars, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and bananas.
This event is the seventh and final race of the 2025-26 Winter Trail Series. Entry fees listed for the race range from $31 to $50 for the 5k and $37 to $55 for the 10k depending on registration timing. Online pre-registration closes January 29. Series participants who complete four or more events earn a pair of limited edition Winter Trail Series socks, and series standings use each runner’s best four performances.
