Interlaken Icicle Dash
Interlaken Icicle Dash takes place on January 30, 2027 at Interlaken Park in Seattle, Washington. The event offers two trail race distances:
- 5k - two 2.5 km loops
- 10k - four 2.5 km loops
The course begins with an out-and-back on the wide, paved Interlaken Boulevard that is closed to motorized traffic inside the park. Runners then climb a short staircase onto dirt trails, follow routes that rise to the top of the park, and return to Interlaken Boulevard for the finish. Each loop measures 2.5 km.
An aid station is located at the start/finish area. It provides water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate-rich and salty foods such as cookies, pieces of energy bar, gels, chews, chips, bagels, fruity candy, fig bars, and bananas. 5k runners pass the aid station once during their race; 10k runners pass it multiple times.
The event is the seventh and final race in the 2026 to 2027 Winter Trail Series. The course runs through a forested park between the Montlake and Capitol Hill neighborhoods near the intersection of 21st Ave E and E Interlaken Blvd. Street parking is available adjacent to check-in and the start/finish.
