Intentional Fathers Showing Up Walk
The Intentional Fathers Showing Up Walk is a community 3K walk at the Milwaukee County Zoo on 09/26/2026, held on Tembo Trail at 10001 W Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, WI 53226. The event is organized as a walk, not a race, and running on the walk path is not permitted. Registration for the walk carries a fee of $30 and includes participation, event goodies, family-friendly activities, full access to the Milwaukee County Zoo, and parking for the day.
The walk supports the Ready to Live mentoring program by What’s Next and emphasizes visible, intentional fatherhood and male mentorship. Fathers and father figures, as well as community members who support positive male leadership, are part of the audience for this event. After the route, participants are encouraged to return to Tembo Trail for additional family activities, community engagement, and fellowship. The first ten fathers and supporters who return to Tembo Trail are entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Milwaukee County Zoo membership and other event giveaways.
