InHouse Ultra
InHouse Ultra is an indoor, last-one-standing endurance event held at Run Unlimited and Twenty One Run. The field is limited to 33 athletes nationwide. The format requires athletes to run 5 miles every hour, on the hour and to complete each 5-mile segment before the next round begins. Missing a round results in a DNF. Competitors may not stack miles or stand on the sides of a moving treadmill. The last athlete remaining wins.
Athletes must be self-supported for fuel and gear. One crew member is allowed but may not provide assistance during treadmill sessions. A recovery zone is available between rounds. The room is temperature controlled to 72 degrees and movies and music will rotate during the event. Participants are asked to bring their own chair and cooler for specific nutrition needs. Family and friends are welcome to attend and cheer, with the note that studio space is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
