Indy Sprint Tri (July 18, 2026)
The Indy Sprint Tri (July 18) takes place on July 18, 2026 at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis. The event is the first of two Indy Sprint Tri races held at this location and offers multiple race formats for individual competitors and teams.
Participants can enter these events: Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike, Triathlon Relay (2 to 3 people) and Duathlon Relay (2 people).
Event distances
- Triathlon: 500 m swim, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
- Duathlon: 2 mi run, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
- Aquabike: 500 m swim, 10 mi bike
- Triathlon Relay (2-3 people): 500 m swim, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
- Duathlon Relay (2 people): 2 mi run, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
Shirts and awards are provided. Competitors who register by Thursday, July 9 are guaranteed a soft-style unisex T-shirt. Awards include overall, age-group and division prizes.
The races are sanctioned by USA Triathlon and follow USAT rules. Competitors must be at least 14 years old on December 31, 2026. Participants are required to hold either an annual USAT membership or a one-day membership; fee amounts for these membership options are published by USAT. A referral refund program returns $5 for every two people who register using a participant's referral link, up to six referrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
