Bubble Run - Indianapolis 2026

The Bubble Run is a distance running event held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. This event focuses on recreation over competition, as participants run, walk, dance, and play through a course of approximately 3 miles (5 km). The course is designed to accommodate various participants, including children and those with strollers.

The primary feature of the event is the presence of Foam Bogs situated throughout the route. At these stations, "Bubble-teers" use machines to disperse large quantities of colored foam. Each bog features a different foam color, and the foam is formulated to be 100% safe for participants. Runners are encouraged to wear white t-shirts to better display the colored foam they collect from head to toe while crossing the different sections.

Registration is shared across different categories, including Value and Exclusive VIP options. The event utilizes a wave start system to manage the flow of participants. Smaller groups are released from the start chute every 60 to 90 seconds within their designated heat. This format ensures a continuous flow of movement through the foam stations on a first-come, first-served basis within each registered time block.

The event takes place on the grounds of 1202 E 38th St. On-site facilities include the Bubble Run store, which offers merchandise such as t-shirts and tutus. Parking is managed by the venue, and a fee of up to $20 may apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
