Event Information

The Indiana Trail Running Association Winter Trail Run n' Fun is a free event taking place on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The event is open to both Indiana Trail Running Association members and interested trail runners.

Location and Course

The event is based out of the Picnic Shelter House at Yellowwood State Forest in Nashville, Indiana. The shelter house is located adjacent to the White Oak and Red Bud Campground Loops off Yellowwood Lake Road. The route uses the Lakeshore Trail and some adjacent trails to create a loop of approximately 6.5 to 7 miles. Participants can run or hike a single loop, run multiple loops, or extend their distance using ancillary trails.

On-Site Amenities

At the shelter house, organizers provide a fire, hot soup and sandwiches, electrolyte drinks, and other beverages. The event also encourages socializing after running.

Participation and Registration
