Event

The Indiana Trail Running Association Winter Trail Run n' Fun takes place on February 21, 2026, in Yellowwood State Forest near Nashville, Indiana. The event is free for ITRA members and other trail runners. Registration is required so organizers can account for food, aid, and supplies.

Course and location

The meeting point is the Picnic Shelter House adjacent to the White Oak and Red Bud campground loops off Yellowwood Lake Road, 772 South Yellowwood Road, Nashville, IN 47448. The main route uses the Lakeshore Trail and adjacent trails to form a loop of about 6.5-7 miles. Participants may run or hike a single loop, run multiple loops, or use ancillary trails to increase mileage.

Logistics and amenities

Organizers will provide a fire at the Shelter House, hot soup and sandwiches, electrolyte drinks, and other beverages.
