Event overview
The B-Town Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk on Thanksgiving morning in Bloomington, Indiana. The course starts and ends at Switchyard Park's Main Pavilion (1601 S. Rogers St.) and follows the B-Line Trail through Switchyard Park. The course is marked with signs and volunteers, has no street crossings, and may share the trail with other bikers and runners. The event is timed by ABTiming. Strollers are welcome and dogs should be kept close.
Logistics and entries
Pre-race packet pick up is available at The Warehouse (1525 S. Rogers St., Bloomington). Long-sleeve race shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by 11/13/2026. Children ages 0-9 have no registration fee and shirts are not included for that age group; additional shirts may be purchased for $15 by the registration deadline. Registration fees shown in the event listing include a reduced fee for ages 10-22 and a free option for ages 0-9. Age group awards are offered in male and female divisions from 0-9 through 70+, and winners are determined by clock time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
