B-Town Turkey Trot
The B-Town Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving 5K Run/Walk held on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event uses the B-Line Trail through Switchyard Park and both the start and finish are at Switchyard Park's Main Pavilion (1601 S. Rogers St., Bloomington, IN 47403).

The race is a timed 5K and registration is listed at $30 (reduced from $40). Registration opens August 31, 2026. Long sleeve race shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by 11/13/2026; shirts are not included for children ages 0-9 whose registration is free, but additional shirts may be purchased for $15 by the same deadline. Pre-race packet pick up is available at The Warehouse (1525 S. Rogers St.) the day before the race and packets will also be available on race day at Switchyard Park.
The course is marked with signs and staffed by volunteers. There are no street crossings on the course, though other bikers and runners may be present on the B-Line. Strollers are welcome with priority requested at the start line. Dogs are allowed if kept close and respectful of other participants. The race is timed by ABTiming, and age group winners are determined by clock time with Male and Female categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
