Event details
The B-Town Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025. It is a 5K run/walk on Bloomington's B-Line Trail through Switchyard Park. The course starts and finishes at Switchyard Park's Main Pavilion (1601 S. Rogers St., Bloomington, IN 47403) and will be marked with signs and volunteers. Strollers are welcome. The event is timed by ABTiming and awards are based on clock time.
Logistics and registration
Pre-race packet pick up is at The Warehouse (1525 S. Rogers St.) on Wednesday, 11/26/25, from 9:00 to 11:00 and 4:00 to 6:00. Packets are also available on race day at Switchyard Park. Long sleeve race shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by 12:00 p.m. (EST) on 11/14/25; shirts are not included for children ages 0-9. Additional shirts may be purchased for $15 by 12:00 p.m. on 11/14/25. The listed registration price is $30, with free entry for ages 0-9 and a $25 rate for ages 10-22; the price increases after November 23, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (EST). Race registration fees cover event services such as timing, permitting, a photographer, on-course safety, race bibs, and awards. Donations to non-profits are accepted via the event sponsor page.
