Indiana State Games 5K Run/walk
The Indiana State Games 5K Run/walk is a fundraiser event held in Newburgh, Indiana. The race takes place at Friedman Park, located at 2700 Park Blvd. The event is open to participants of all ages and serves as a local competition for runners and walkers.
The course is a 5 km (3.12 miles) road run designed as an out and back route. A water stop is available for participants at the 1-mile marker. For athletes ages 50 and over, this race functions as a qualifying event to participate in the National Senior Games in 2027.

Awards are presented to the overall top three male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age groups. These groups begin at ages 1-12 and continue in increments up to 90+. Packet pickup is scheduled on the day of the race at the event location.
