Event Information

The Indiana State Games 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser event open to participants of all ages. The 5K road run (approximately 3.12 miles) takes place at Friedman Park in Newburgh, Indiana.

Event Details

The race follows an out-and-back course. There is a water stop at the 1-mile marker.

Awards are presented for overall male and female finishers. There are also awards for the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, and 90+. For participants aged 50 and over, this event serves as a qualifier for the National Senior Games in 2027.
