Indiana State Games 5K Run/walk
The Indiana State Games 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising road race held at Friedman Park, 2700 Park Blvd, Newburgh, Indiana. The event features a 5 kilometer course, equal to 3.12 miles, and is organized as the official 5K Road Race for the Indiana State Senior Games.
The race is open to all ages. Participants age 50 and over may compete to qualify to advance to the National Senior Games in 2027. Registration carries a fee of $20.00 and the registration period runs from February 1, 2026 through June 4, 2026. Packet pickup is available on the day of the race.
Awards are presented to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in the listed age groups: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, and 90 plus.
