In the Cut 5K
In the Cut 5K is an annual community fun run and walk presented by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Rho Mu Nu Chapter in conjunction with the Like Minds Foundation. The event is scheduled for September 5, 2026 at the Nankin Mills Recreation Area in Historic Hines Drive Park, Wayne County, Michigan (33259 Edward N Hines Drive, Westland, MI 48185).

- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Cruiser Run/Walk
Advance registration opens May 8, 2026. Advance entries for the listed events carry a $30 registration fee; advance registration for the 5K closes September 4, 2026 and registration for the 1-mile event closes September 5, 2026. An onsite registration option for the 5K is available on the day of the event with a $40 fee.
Finishers will receive a t-shirt and a medal. The event is described as a community outreach effort that has partnered with health care groups and local personal training and fitness facilities to encourage healthier living through walking and running.
