Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon - Oklahoma City
The event takes place at Route 66 Park near the Route 66 Amphitheater in Yukon, Oklahoma. Races run around a 1 mile loop at the park; the course is described as super flat and super fast. The full marathon is USATF certified and serves as a Boston qualifier.
The event offers in-person and virtual options. Virtual participants may run when and where they choose and must submit a time before the end of race day; shirts and medals are provided for participants. Aid support on course includes water and an electrolyte drink at the aid table, and participants may place personalized aid on the tables for each loop.
The event is intentionally small and focused, capped at 75 participants. All participants receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. Awards for both distances are given in standard five-year age groups. A free cheer crew option is available for spectators; there is no entry fee and registering is not required for spectators.
