Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon in Oklahoma City is a looped course event held at Route 66 Park on September 20, 2026. The event uses a one mile loop that is described as very flat and fast. The full marathon is USATF certified and serves as a Boston qualifier; the half marathon also has a USATF certificate.

The event is organized as a smaller field focused on producing fast times. Chip timing is used with split times recorded every mile and displayed on timing clocks along the course to help runners monitor pace. The course closes after a four hour race time.
Aid and on-course support include water, a gatorade type drink, and bananas. There are two aid stations along the loop and a designated personal aid drop station where runners can leave their own drinks or gels for volunteers to hand off. Music and other entertainment will be placed along the course to provide encouragement during repeated laps.
Registration has tiered pricing with regular, late, and race day rates. Participants registered by September 10 are guaranteed race swag in their selected size.
