About the race
The IM ABLE Games take place on 19 September 2026 at 1054 Arnold Rd, Reading, PA 19605, USA. The event program combines running distances, an obstacle course, multi-event trifecta options, and adaptive divisions for athletes with physical or intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Distances offered include:
- 2 miles
- 4.5 miles
- 9 miles
The Kaaginator Fitness Challenge is an obstacle-course event with pre-registration closing 9/15; walk-in registration may be available as space allows and heat times will be assigned the week of the event. Trifecta options include a Half Trifecta and a Full Trifecta; pre-registration for these also closes 9/15. The Full Trifecta requires completion of the 9-mile run in 1 hour 20 minutes (approximately a 12-minute pace). The Klingers Hot Wing Hustle is listed as a separate event with its own pre-registration deadline.
Several adaptive events mirror the standard events (2-mile, 4.5-mile, 9-mile, Kaaginator, and trifecta) and are designated for athletes with physical or intellectual and/or developmental disabilities only. Many adaptive categories show a zero registration fee. A volunteer registration option is listed specifically for individuals who wish to assist adaptive athletes; other event support volunteers are registered separately.
