Event Overview
The IM ABLE Games takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum located at Reading Regional Airport. It is described as an inclusive, high-energy day of fitness, fun, and community.
Events and Activities
The event includes a variety of physical and social activities:
- Bike Race (new for this year)
- Kaaginator Fitness Challenge: An obstacle course on the airport tarmac, described as a mix of physical tasks and unexpected twists.
- 2-mile Fun Run, Walk, or Roll: A non-competitive, family-friendly event. The course starts on the tarmac, goes onto traffic-controlled paved roads outside the airport, and finishes back on the tarmac.
- Klingers Hot Wing Hustle: A post-race eating challenge sponsored by Klingers at the Airport.
- Trifecta Triple Crown: A combination event bundling the Bike Race, Kaaginator Challenge, and Hot Wing Hustle.
Adaptive versions of several events are offered with free registration: Adaptive Bike Race, Adaptive 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk/Roll, Adaptive Kaaginator Fitness Challenge, and Adaptive Trifecta.
Post-Event Activities
An Afterburner Party concludes the day. This party takes place under vintage aircraft and includes food, beer, and socializing. Every participant receives one free beer. Food from Klingers will be available for purchase, accepting both cash and cards.
Registration and Teams
Registration for most events opens on March 6, 2026. Participants can form non-competitive Social Teams of 10 or more people to receive a discount on registration fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
