Iroquois Hill Runners Poker Run
This community running event takes place at the Iroquois Park Amphitheater in Louisville, Kentucky on August 4, 2026. It includes a 5K and a 1 Mile fun run around the base of Iroquois Park, with the course starting and finishing near the amphitheater parking area. The route follows rolling hills around the park base and finishes adjacent to the amphitheater parking lot.
Entry is donation based. Participants are asked to bring an unopened toy or a monetary donation for Toys for Tots in lieu of a monetary registration fee. After the run, participants can compare poker hands and there are multiple door prizes.
Packet pick-up is available on site prior to the start; staff will check in participants and assist with race day registration. Early or mobile registration can reduce wait times on race day. Iroquois Park provides ample parking at the amphitheater and playground; attendees are asked not to park on the grass.
Organizers note that summer weather in Louisville can be warm. Bottled water will be available at the finish line and participants are advised to hydrate before, during, and after the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
