If You're Not First You're Last - Eagle, ID
If You're Not First You're Last is a Last Man Standing running event in Eagle, Idaho organized by Pulse Running. Competitors run a measured 4.167 mile loop repeatedly; a bell signals the start of each hour and runners must be in the starting corral when the bell rings or receive a DNS. The race continues hour by hour until only one competitor begins a loop; the winner must complete one more loop than every other participant.

The event is part of the Idaho Trail Ultra Series (ITUS) and related Idaho Trail series. A 50K result or completing the full 3 Loop Challenge can count as one of the races required for the year-end series jacket.
Logistics and rules include packet pickup at Idaho Running Company in Boise (dates listed), guaranteed schwag for those registered by September 1, same-day registration availability, and a no-refund policy. Each competitor may have two crew members at the start/finish. There is a minimal aid station at the start/finish with water, Tailwind, coffee and broth; competitors may not receive personal aid during a loop. Eliminated runners and other non-competitors may not be on course, artificial aids are prohibited, and results record distance covered. The race has no fixed overall time limit.
