About the race
The event is a Last Man Standing race and a 3 Loop Challenge. The race format involves completing a 4.167-mile loop within one hour, starting at the top of each hour. Runners must be in the starting corral when the bell rings to begin each loop.
The Last Man Standing competition continues until only one runner remains; that runner must complete one more loop than all others to win. The 3 Loop Challenge offers a fixed distance, with overall fastest times for male and female winners. Completing the 3 Loop Challenge can count as one race toward the Idaho Trail Series jacket requirement. The event is part of the Idaho Trail Ultra Series (ITUS).
For the Last Man Standing race, running at least 50K counts toward the ITUS year-end jacket requirement. The race is also part of the Idaho Trail Series (ITS). Packet pickup is scheduled at the Idaho Running Company in Boise. A minimal aid station at the start/finish will provide water, Tailwind, coffee, and broth.
Each runner is allowed two crew members at the start/finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
