Event Overview
The Idle Hands Craft Ales 5K is an untimed fun run organized by the Massachusetts Brewery Running Series. This event follows a course approximately 5 km long that starts and finishes at the Idle Hands Craft Ales brewery in Malden. Participants are welcome to run, walk, or jog the route at their own pace.
The course is designed to highlight Malden center and the surrounding neighborhoods. As an open course event, the route takes place on public roads and sidewalks that remain open to traffic. Participants are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and staying aware of their surroundings. The path is marked with arrows to guide runners along the way.
Participation Details
The event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Registration includes one craft beverage from the brewery, with non-alcoholic options available for those under 21 or by preference. Participants also receive a collector's pint glass or a series swag item.
The run takes place rain or shine. While there is no bag check available on-site, dogs and strollers are permitted on the course with caution.
