Ice Cream Chase 5k - Chicago

The Ice Cream Chase 5k is scheduled for May 30, 2026, and is presented as the event's eighth annual 5k. The course starts and ends at Bunker Hill, Grove 4, and follows the public bike path through the Bunker Hill Forest Preserve in Chicago. Participants may run or walk the 5k distance.

Prizes will be awarded to qualifying in-person finishers. A virtual participation option is also offered. All proceeds from the event fund the Brian McManus Scholarship.

The 2026 event lists sponsorship opportunities with four levels and associated amounts: Platinum $1000+, Gold $500 to $999, Silver $250 to $499, and Bronze $100 to $249. Payment options for sponsors include online payment, Zelle to Friends of Northside College Prep, or a check payable to the Brian McManus Scholarship Fund. To be listed on the event shirt, sponsorship confirmation must be received by April 24. The 2026 theme is superheroes.
