About the race
The ICA 5K for Education is the fifth annual 5K organized by Independence Classical Academy in Fort Pierce, Florida, held on January 30, 2027 at 601 Seaway Drive. The course runs along the water and is described as flat. Chip timing and live results are provided by MOGO Timing. All participants receive a race shirt, a finisher medal and post-race snacks.
Participants aged 17 and under are eligible for a discounted registration price that is applied automatically. Registration for the 5K opens on September 21, 2026 and closes on October 31, 2026; the listed registration fee for the 5K is $35. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in each category. Age categories for awards are Overall, 5 & Under, 6-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
