I Run They Learn

I Run They Learn is a community fundraising run and walk held at Sean Diamond Park in Dublin, California. The event raises funds for Light of Life Trust, a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of low income families in India by supporting education and community programs. Registration carries a fee of $45.00 and registration fees are matched one to one. Registration opens June 6, 2026 and closes August 30, 2026.

The program includes prayer and Carnatic music, yoga, a run or walk and recreational activities, plus Bollywood dance and food available for purchase. Participants receive a free swag item.

Light of Life Trust supports work in underserved villages across India and reports operations in 500 villages. The organization provides education and efforts to keep children in school, along with vocational and college pathways. Services described include medical vans, vocational training, agricultural training, music and arts, leadership development, annual physical and eye exams, extra tutoring support and nutrition programs. The organization also involves and supports parents as part of its programs and reports a retention rate of 95 percent among children served.
